Its 3 am, I am lying on the bed still waiting for that nap
that I should take as per the norms of human society. But that’s what anticipated of me, I have never followed the rules set by big giants of Stock
market ,so obviously I don’t follow here as well.
Here I am waiting for markets to open tomorrow at 9:15 am, and start making candles and show the movement.
Here I am waiting for markets to open tomorrow at 9:15 am, and start making candles and show the movement.
Its 3:35 pm next day,
I am sitting on my chair, computer screen reflecting profit of 251595 % return
made within 40 trading days. Still trying to find out where could have I improved
and done better. Hi , I am Chaitanya
Jaiswal and this is my life story.
I was born at Indore, a small town in Madhya Pradesh (India);
I was born in a lower middle class family.
My father Mr. Chotelal Jaiswal had to go through a lot of
struggle in his life, as my grandparents passed away very early in his life, so
he had to grapple through for his livelihood. But my father is a fighter, he
did face each and every challenge that life threw at him and came out of all
the adversaries with flying colors. His attitude of never giving up passed to
me. My father was posted in Municipal Corporation of Indore; he made sure that
each and every member of my family was happy, despite of whatever we lacked
monetarily. My mother menka jaiswal has
always been my pillar of strength, the trait of patience comes in to me through
her. My brother and my sister completed
our close knit family.
I did my schooling as well as college degree from Indore
itself, even after completing my Masters in Commerce; this degree didn’t fetch
me the desired job so my journey with managing staff of life began in 2001.
I started working with Bhaskar TV in 2001 at a meager salary of 1500 rupees,
although I joined with profile as marketing executive and accounts manager but
my job revolved more about fulfilling the household chores like grocery
shopping, kids picking etc…. which was completely unacceptable to me. So I
switched to a job which was going to be life turning experience for me.
I joined STOCK MARKET in June 2002. I joined one of the
franchise of Arihant Securities as a dealer
and as the time passed by market started to suck me in to it and
eventually I took my first trade , I
bought Allahabad bank shares at the rate of 17 and sold them at rate of 30
rupees making a profit of rupees 4000. For a person earning 1700 making 4000
rupees within a couple of days was astonishing. As every trader, I found this method of making
money as very cozy so I convinced my father for some funds and he broke one of
fixed deposit which was made for my sister’s marriage and gave me fifty
thousand rupees to invest in market.
But my fallacy of understanding the market and dreams of
making big returns were shattered almost in a flash, I started making loss on
regular basis and eventually lost all the money I had invested in market, moreover
created a debt of ten thousand. So I had a total of sixty thousand rupees. I
was earning 2200 rupees per month, so to earn this money it would have taken
more than 2 years. I didn’t knew what to
do so I enunciated my emotions, he supported me and comforted me by saying that
he will take care of everything. But one
thing he said that kept on haunting for years that “99 % traders make losses in
market”. With all the angst and grief I
approached my father and told him the complete story. Expecting harsh rebuke
from my father, I was mentally prepared for anything. But his reaction broke me
down, he just said three words in Hindi “ Koi Baat Nahi” ( It’s all right). I
cried in front of him and pledged that I will never take trade in stock market.
In 2003, I left Arihant securities and joined Indo Thai
Securities as a dealer, but this time I was under a pledge and didn’t take a
single trade for two years, almost recovered all the losses I made in market through
my salary. I would say these two years were the most constructive years of my trading;
I was among all the chaos but never indulged in any of it. So the line that
most of the traders make loss in the market kept on haunting me. From here I
started researching and finding reason for each and every trades success and
failure. My strategies making process
started and flourished during this tenure of two years. I kept on experimenting
with these strategies, came up with new strategy in every few days. Neither
making loss nor earning much. I wasn’t making too much money through my job so
decided to change my field.
In the earlier months of 2006, I started my construction
company in partnership with a friend of mine. But this turned out to be
horrendous decision for couple of reasons. Firstly there was no time to fulfill
my daily chores; I wasn’t even getting time to have food also. But even after
working so hard, I wasn’t able to make any money. Secondly, partnership with a
real close friend of mine failed, and ended up with sore taste in our mouth.
Split in friendship hurt me more than the failure of business. We closed up with this business at the end of
2006. During these years, a cousin of mine suggested me to join Sharekhan
broker firm. This gave me the next destination in my life.
I joined Share khan on 13th march 2007 but as a
dealer is not allowed to take trade, I used to maintain a dairy with all my
trades record, I always played with open target but strict stop loss. I need to
confess here that I got one of my friends to open an account with Share khan
and started to trade on his behalf.
This phase of life turned around my life, I started to make
consistent profit that to quite big ones, and my clients started to trade on my
recommendations and started to make even bigger profits. This was the biggest
boast of confidence for me. I started making consistent profits. I made huge
profits in New Listings and developed a strategy to play IPO.
I got my sister married in 2011, bought a home. All this was
done with money made from Stock Market. These two days are couple of proudest
days of my life. It was a very emotional moment to get my sister married
because everything came in front of my eyes in a flash. The day I lost the FD
amount to market to getting my sister married with aplomb.
In the year 2012, I got married in quite a dramatic way, and
found a perfect partner for life. I was blessed with boy in year 2013 and
another one in April 2016.
In the year 2015, CNBC along with some famous names came up
with a unique idea of a league for traders known as Indian Trading League. I
Won that league by making 3200 % return in a single Financial year. I was awarded with the title of “India’s Best
Trader “and was felicitated by Mr. Nitin GadKari and Kapil Dev on national
television. During the month of May 2016, a competitive league for stock market
trader was floated by Samco venture known as Indian Trading league (ITL). This league had some big names associated
with it as Cricketer Kapil Dev and CNBC group as media partner.
This was the perfect platform for me to show
dexterity as a trader and with my adroitness went on to win the prize
money of 1 Crore rupee along with the
title of being “ India’s Best Trader”. I also won the weekly, monthly,
quarterly league during this tenure of ten months. He achieved this feat by
making 3176 % return in the League. This
phenomenal achievement was held in high regards by print as well as television
media. And the award ceremony was telecasted live on CNBC. His attainment took
the stock trading world of India by a storm and he became a internet sensation
as well.
In the year 2016, after winning this award, I decided to
impart my knowledge to fellow traders and help them out. So no one gives up his
life due to losses as a very close friend of mine did. I take out two days in a
month and take these sessions. Through this academy I am trying to help the
traders who have been making losses time and again and inundated by Stock
Market. I take out some time from his busy schedule to take session once every
month and shares his magical strategies.
I stopped my academy for couple of months, as I was inclined
towards making a world record of highest return made by any one ever in stock
market. I made 251595 % return during August – September 2016 and registered my name in Golden Book of
World Records. This spirit of dreaming big gave me the zeal to go for the world
record of making highest stock market return.
I got the privilege of holding
the award for “Largest Stock Market Portfolio Appreciation in a quarter” for
making 259515 % returns in equity segment by Golden Book of World Record. This
is the highest return made ever by any stock market trader or investor in the
300 year old history of Stock Exchanges all over the world
